  • Proper assembly, disassembly and re-assembly of fittings
  • Thread identification and installation
  • Common errors leading to tube fitting leakage
Practicum
  • Instrument Drawing
  • Identification of installation errors on: Tubing installation - Tube fitting installation
  • Threaded fitting installation
  • Disassembly and reassembly procedure for inspection
  • Identification of mixed-component fittings (intermix/interchange) - Fractional/metric fittings - Alloy fittings
  • Remedial actions
  • Exercise of tube fitting installation and loop inspection
